I have been babysitting my younger brothers since I was 13. I have experience with all ages. I have aided in elementary classrooms all through high school and now take psychology and education classes in college that teach me more about development and understanding behaviors. I have also babysat for other families full time over the summer. Both of my younger brothers are homeschooled and I have helped with teaching them and assisting my 15 year old brother with his homework. In one of the classrooms I aided in there was a nonverbal autistic student that particularly liked my help. I am not trained in that area but have experience.

In my house, growing up, we had very limited screen time. I have grown to love arts and crafts, playing outside, reading, cooking, and I am open to trying more! But don’t get me wrong, I love movies and have gotten pretty good at video games!

The most important thing for me when I babysit is making sure every need is met. This can be physically but also emotionally and mentally. I want every little heart to be smiling when I am caring for them.

My favorite nanny moments would have to be every time one of the little girls I babysat would fall asleep on me. It was so wholesome and sweet because I loved the idea that we had so much fun together that she was tired enough for a nap and that she trusted me enough for that. :)
