I'm a writer and lifelong lover of the arts. I'm also the oldest of four siblings by a lot (we're talking 9, 17, and 22 years apart). I basically helped raise my siblings from birth, so caring for children has been woven into my life since I was a kid myself. I also have five nieces and nephews, currently 6 to 13.
