I have been around childcare my entire life with my mother running her own daycare business for over twenty years. While I used to think she was bringing more friends for me to hang out with as a child, I quickly realized that my mom was (and still is) an entrepreneur and business owner. Whether it was at the parents' house or at my own, there were always kids around and I loved the environment. Babysitting became my summer, evenings, and weekend gigs. That was all in Topeka, Kansas. I moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to pursue college, and nannied there as well. I went through a company called Nanny Connection, and found families I loved.
