Hello! My name is Gwendelynn. I am a very handworker and love spending time with children! I am currently a Pre-School teacher where I have gained immense experience with all sorts of kids. I am looking for a more personal approach in my next childcare job. I have worked with all age groups, special needs and large groups of children! I value open communication, respect towards one another, patience and put my best foot forward to ensure each child is taken care of as well as their families needs. "Gwendelynn has been an absolutely fantastic nanny for our boys! She is kind and caring and loves on our boys so much - they love her so much as well and are always happy to see her. She is so great at planning different activities, doing crafts and actively playing with our boys. They also love to bake treats together and she does a great job of balancing and providing different healthier food options. Gwendelynn goes out of her way to help our day to day and home run smoothly and is so great with managing our boys routines, including driving them to school or bringing them to fun activities outside of our home. We often work longer hours and Gwendelynn keeps us updated throughout the day and sends pictures - we love seeing what they're up to and appreciate the communication! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am currently a full-time Pre-School teacher at ABC Great Beginnings. I have worked here for almost a year now where I have experienced all different age groups! I have also had lots of experiences babysitting in the last 7 years for neighbors, friends and lots of people recommending me to parents!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing lots of activates with kids. Going outside for at least an hour a day is crucial. I enjoy trying new parks, playgrounds or any other fun outdoor play places that are available with the weather! In my current Pre-School class, we try to make crafts everyday. We make crafts to go along with the lesson we are learning, with holidays coming up, the current season or just fun decorations for the classroom! I love seeing the creativity flow so differently within children's minds!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Building a special bond with each child. Every child is unique and special and needs to understood and cared for in a different way. I think the best way to success is being patient and building a a unique bond. Unique bonds help me as a Nanny understand how to help and take care of a child while also having fun! Unique bonds also help a child be able to trust me and understand me as person.

I have worked with various special needs children. There are multiple Autistic kids within our facility that I have worked with and had in my class permanently.
