A little bit about me

I’m Hailey! I love working with children and easing the weight on the family’s shoulders as I understand how overwhelming childcare can be. I have experience as a paraprofessional in a special needs school, ABA behavioral therapy, and personal experience babysitting family and friends.

I’m open to helping with meal prepping and housework, planning activities to encourage children’s growth and development, being a helper to a present family or independently taking care of children when the parents are unavailable.

I’m open to full-time hours during the day, ranging from 8-5:30 as I am also a full-time student pursuing a career in Speech Pathology.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in a special needs school in a 1:1 classroom as a paraprofessional and in ABA as a behavioral technician.

I’ve also done caretaking and babysitting for babies, autistic toddlers and neurotypical children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts, showing them music or listening to music they already enjoy, reading, writing, playing pretend and going on walks or to the park, though I’m always down to try new activities and games!

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked as a Research Assistant/ Paraprofessional in a specialized school for rare conditions and TBIs. I’ve also worked in ABA as a behavioral technician.

I do also have personal experiences with taking care of the autistic children of family and friends.
