More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes babysitting for multiple families, working as a ranch camp counselor and camp counselor in youth programs, serving as a teacher’s assistant for younger students, and working with elementary and middle school students in educational and mentoring roles. I also spent time in a program focused on supporting kids who were struggling in school or feeling isolated, helping them build confidence, improve their grades, care more about their education, and develop stronger friendships. Through these experiences I’ve learned how to be patient, encouraging, and supportive while creating a safe and positive environment for kids to grow.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include going to the park, walks, outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, and creative activities. I really enjoy letting kids guide what they’re interested in doing and helping make it fun for them. When I’ve babysat before we’ve done things like park trips, walks, and even little errands like grocery shopping that turn into fun learning moments. I love being outdoors, staying active, and also doing creative and artsy activities that keep kids engaged and excited. I’m very flexible and happy to join in on whatever activities the kids enjoy most.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a strong relationship with the child. I’m not just there to make sure they’re safe, but also to be someone they trust, someone who can guide them, teach them, protect them, and have fun exploring the world with them. I think creating a positive, supportive connection is what helps kids feel comfortable, confident, and happy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment… was when I had to say goodbye to the elementary and middle school students I had been working with for a few months. Over that time we built such fun and meaningful connections, and it was really special watching them grow more confident and excited about school. Before I left, many of them wrote me little notes thanking me for everything I helped them with and taught them, and sharing what they would miss about our time together. It was such a sweet moment and reminded me why I love working with kids so much.

Hi! My name is Emmily , and I’m 16 years old. I moved to America two years ago and am currently continuing my education here. While I don’t have formal babysitting experience yet, I have two younger siblings, so I’m very familiar with caring for younger children and helping them with daily routines. I’m responsible, patient, and good at communicating with kids. I love reading and enjoy sharing that interest with children by reading stories together and encouraging learning in a fun way.
