A little bit about me

Hey! My name is Hailey! I grew up in Ankeny until I was 10 and then my family moved to Cedar Falls! I grew up as a competitive cheerleader for 10 years and then I got to cheer my freshman year at ISU! I currently am a junior at ISU majoring in elementary education with endorsements in special education and reading. I first realized that I wanted to be a teacher at the ISU cheer clinic when I feel in love with helping kids to grow and succeed. Since then I have gotten my substitute license in 2024 (I have had the opportunity to substitute in Gilbert school district ) and worked at an after school program in Ames. Along with that I have gotten to experience being in several classrooms as a part of my ISU education. Over this time I have cherished the opportunity to connect with several different kids and truly learn from them as they help me become a better person! I can do this by creating a safe and caring environment for all kids!
