A little bit about me

I have been working as a career nanny and care giver for 15 years, forming life long relationships with wonderful like minded families, constantly learning more about how I can respect, honor and nurture your child and your family. My chid care approach is greatly influenced by the work of Magda Gerber and her Educaring approach as well the Montessori Nido programs and Love and Logic. I work well with children of all ages and abilities and have a ton of experience with disabilities. Now that all the “boring” stuff has been said, I also love to go for walks with little babies and watch and suport as they develop a new skill (it never gets old!). I’m a big fan of picking flowers that we can use in an art project or finding sticks that would suffice as a wizards wand! I like dress up, baking, and building! I have a great attitude that invites children to participate in even the most mundane tasks. I enjoy being someone they look forward to seeing every day!
