Whenever I work with kids I want them to have fun.
For indoor/outdoor activities I try to get involved as much as they want/let me.
If they don't want me involved or are doing a solitary activity I try to regularly check in, and ask about their hobby/interest so they know I will be interested if they later decided they would like to share an activity with me.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, working with kids is a very important job. Kids are like sponges and just absorb so much information. So when I work with kids I always value positive interactions and reactions and respect.
I treat any kid I work with immense respect and will always remind them ( age depending) to use respect with others as well.
Mainly I want them to feel comfortable around me and to always have fun and be engaged if possible.

My experience is limited, I have worked with kids with learning disabilities in a classroom setting.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was honestly the whole summer I spent with a sibling duo.
They wanted to play with sprinklers and water guns and they wanted me to play too. They ended up ambushing me with water guns. I spent the rest of the day in wet clothes but the smiles on their faces was worth it.
