Hi!! I'm Hannah Blough, and I would LOVE to come alongside your family and help in any way I can! 💗

I've loved working with kids since I was 13, when I began babysitting for four families consistently. I majored in Musical Theatre and minored in Education in college, where I also student taught. I've been a counselor at a technology-free sleepaway camp in New Hampshire, a full time nanny for two families (including a child with special needs), a choreographer for a nonprofit theatre, and a special education teacher!
I'm all about imaginative play, outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, silly songs, and making everyday moments magical. (I'm basically a professional at lullabies, dress-up, and dramatic storytimes!) My favorite color is pink, and I bring lots of creativity, patience, and enthusiasm wherever I go.

My relevant childcare experience includes one year as a special education teacher, two full-time summers as a nanny (one caring for a child with special needs), five years of babysitting, and experience as a summer camp counselor at both Camp Cody and Anderson University Repertory Theatre. I have also served as a Children’s Ministry Intern at Ridgedale Baptist Church and worked as Camp Administrator at Camp Ridgedale. My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with special needs through my year as a special education teacher, my experience as a full-time nanny for a child with special needs, and a camp counselor for children with special needs. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, understanding, adapting fun activities, and meeting each child where they are. I understand that every child has unique strengths, needs, and ways of communicating, and I love finding creative ways to help each child feel supported, included, and valued.
