Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Everything! I’m hands on and I like to model everything. ASL is very important to me and I’ve seen little babies that are five months old sign the word milk. I taught an 18 month old sign language for words like poop and I saw that child start to use it which was very beneficial because it helped us to communicate and I would know to give them space.
I always like to have fun with the kids and get involved when we do activities and it definitely helps the child understand how we are supposed to play. Paint and water are a good example, most kids want to touch paint with their hands in the beginning so I always start with finger paint because they want to touch and feel and it’s a great sensory activity while also talking about colors. It’s easy to bring a water activity outside so a kid can splash and go wild because exploration is how they grow and I know it’s not because they want to be “bad”, it’s normal and it’s part of the process when beginning water play.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Making a good relationship with the child and family and helping a child to achieve their full potential and always finding a way to make things possible. It can always be done and it can always be done without making a child upset and no cutting corners!
My experience with special needs children...
I am open to special needs and special care but I do not have experience. Anything is possible as long as I am well informed. I am very confident in my care and capabilities. I started working with kids because I know if they are with me I will always make sure they are safe and able to be cared for properly above all else.

Babysitter Available in Phoenix, AZ: Auburn M.
Hi! My name is Auburn and I’m 20 years old! I’ve grown up always wanting to be a babysitter. I love being with kids! I did a class in highschool called teachers academy where we got to go to an elementary school and help out the teachers in the classrooms. I worked with all age groups but mainly babies! From then on I wanted to be with kids a lot more often! I currently work at the Cheesecake Factory in Scottsdale and plan to work two jobs. That’s why I signed up to be an occasional babysitter! Im currently saving up for a new car so doing this would be a huge help in this process!
