More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have watched over children since I was 5. I would feed them, play with them, clean up around the house, etc. I did this for family and friends of family. I was taking care of 2-8 children at a time, depending on who all was there. I also meal prepped and took care of household duties in between, and balanced out taking care of the kids and whatever else needed to be done.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to draw, color, and write with children. I think its a great way to expresss creativity. I also build Legos, watch shows, help with homework. Pretty much whatever the kid enjoys, I will entertain.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part is being able to make a parent's life easier. Its hard trusting people, especially for parents. So finding a nanny they can trust to show up and be a good person, is what makes their life much easier. I also think the difference i can make in a child's life, the memories they make, is what makes it even more special.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a cousin who is heavily autistic. Dealing with her, has given me a way to understand what helps children with autism or special needs in general. It also has allowed me to gain more patience and empathy for kids of all varying spectrums of the world.
