A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Hannah, I’m 23 years old & live in Madison. I’ve been teaching at a local preschool here in Madison for about 4 years now, and I’m currently looking for a family to nanny for after! I started babysitting at 13 but really got my nannying experience over the last 3 years while working with a family. They unfortunately moved to Texas recently. My experience includes working with children ages newborn-14 (so just about any age)! I am First Aid/CPR certified through the preschool. I’m ideally looking for 25-30 hours a week. I’m at the preschool until 12:00 weekdays, so my
ideal schedule would be around 12:30-early evening. After June 6th, I’m available for full time help as the preschool goes on summer break! I look forward to speaking!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a toddler teacher at St. Andrews Preschool for the last 4 years, and this year I started in the 4’s room! Through the preschool I have gained hands-on experience not only caring for children (ages 1-4) but also with helping them learn and grow. My favorite part is watching them hit milestones throughout the school year!!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing crafts, projects, and educational activities. When the weather is nice I love taking children on walks, to the playground, or even just playing outside!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny, to me, is that the children know they can rely on me and that I care. I love seeing my nanny kids come to me for comfort, solutions, and for a friend.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children that have speech delays, behavioral concerns, and learning disabilities. While I am not certified to implement actual treatment plans, I have learned some skills through the preschool that help work through these concerns (typically alongside a professional)!
