A little bit about me

Nurturing young minds has always been a true passion of mine. I am 19 years old and have lived in Sacramento my entire life. Growing up in a big family with 14 siblings and 16 nieces and nephews, I’ve had the privilege of being surrounded by children of all ages. In fact, I helped raise two of my nieces from infancy, which gave me valuable hands-on experience in caring for babies and toddlers as well as older children. I graduated at the top of my class from Rio Valley Charter School, where I completed medical assisting and EKG courses, in addition to earning my CPR and First Aid certifications. In deeper detail, over the past two years I’ve also cared for children outside of my family, ranging from infants to pre-teens. I get along exceptionally well with kids and take great pride in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for them to grow.
