I love to be outdoors, so when the weather is nice, we will definitely be playing outside. When it starts to get a bit more chilly, I really try to dive into what the specific child is interested in. Whether that's baking, painting, making slime, or playing make-believe, I love to stay active with the kids.

My experience with special needs children...
I had the opportunity to shadow at a pediatric occupational therapy clinic, where I learned how to interact with and engage children with autism and different developmental needs. I observed therapists use play, activities, and communication strategies to help children feel comfortable and involved. This experience helped me become more patient, understanding, and confident when working with children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories while babysitting was with a 3-year-old little girl and a 1-year-old little boy. We went on a walk around their neighborhood, and I loved seeing how excited they got about simple things like seeing a dog or a butterfly. We spent the time laughing, being outside, and getting some energy out, while also having a fun and memorable bonding experience together.
