More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve provided babysitting and childcare for over 5 years, working with children ranging from newborns to age 10. In addition to babysitting for families in my community, I’ve worked in daycare settings with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers (ages 0–5). I’ve also helped care for my younger brother, who was a premature baby, so I’m very comfortable with delicate care routines and early developmental needs. These experiences have taught me how to stay patient, alert, and always centered on the child’s well-being.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
love engaging children in creative and fun activities that match their age and personality — things like sensory play, crafts, story time, nature walks, dancing, music, and pretend play. I also enjoy helping with early learning like shapes, numbers, colors, and letters in a way that feels like fun, not school. For older kids, I love board games, simple baking projects, and outdoor play. I’m big on bonding and making sure the child feels seen and included in the activity.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny is being a loving and steady presence in a child’s life. Kids don’t just need supervision — they need someone who’s going to show up with patience, warmth, and genuine care. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing space where children can explore, express themselves, and feel completely accepted. When they feel that, they thrive — and that’s what makes this work so meaningful to me.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve had the opportunity to care for several children on the autism spectrum, including my two younger cousins, cordero and Jayla, who are both around 2–3 years old. I also frequently babysit a family friend’s son who is on the spectrum as well. Through these experiences, I’ve learned the importance of patience, routine, gentle communication, and understanding sensory sensitivities. I always try to meet them where they are — emotionally and developmentally — and make sure they feel supported and safe in every interaction.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was with a toddler I was caring for who had been really shy with new people. After a few days together, he ran up to me with a big smile, hugged my leg, and handed me his favorite toy to play with. It might seem small, but those little moments of trust and connection mean everything to me. It reminded me how much children pick up on energy — and how being consistent and kind always pays off.

Hello…
I am a mother of 2 grown boys who have started their professional journey!
I have worked professionally as an HR professional at a Director/VP level. I have done some contract work and currently caring for a 20 month old boy. I started at a young age taking care of children and I am still in touch with a family that I worked for since college. In the last few years I helped my niece with her 2 children and really enjoyed it. I have a lot of energy and look for daily activities to help facilitate children through their development. I’ve done the research with the child I currently care for and I believe he has truly enjoyed our participation!
