A little bit about me

Hello my name is Haven Jones! I am currently living in El Paso with my Fiancé who is in the Army and my dog Shadow. As of right now I work at a pet day care center taking care of the animals. I am taking a year off from college till the virus dies down to finish my final year of my Early Childhood Education degree. I would some day love to teach kindergarten and make a positive impact on their views of education.
I have a step son who just turned 3 and our favorite activity to do together is baking. He is a big fan of cookies so he gets very excited to make them from scratch and eat them warm from the oven! I also make sure to do crafts with him frequently because I love to look back and see how his fine motor skills and creativity has changed and improved over time. Currently his favorite craft activity is anything to do with washable paint!

My favorite moment I experienced with a child I cared for was when I was watching a boy and girl over the summer and we got to go outside and enjoy some sunshine as we played games and running around in the sprinkler system. It reminded me of how fun it was to be a kid having summers off that were filled with laughter and fun!
