I’ve done babysitting for my church with big groups of children. I also work at a day camp during the summer from kindergarten to 5th graders. At the camp I cook lunches daily for about 125 kids.

I enjoy arts and crafts, cooking/baking, plays board games, and other fun games (hide and seek, soccer, etc.)

That the kids are happy. Yes being safe is important, yes making sure they are fed and having fun playing is good too, but the most important part of being a nanny, to me at least, is that they are happy and know that they have someone to talk to if they need it

While working at the summer camp I’d walk around and check in on Al the kids and one little boy had written me a letter telling me about his life and his memories and things that have been weighing on his chest. It was so special to me that he trusted me enough to tell me these things that bothered him.
