I have 25+ years of formal babysitting experience, but have been watching younger siblings and other relatives for the past 10 years. I also have been a live-in nanny for 1.5 years.
My most recent position included a 3 1/2 yr old boy and newborn girl.
I love spending time with children, and to me babysitting is more than just watching the kids watch TV. I enjoy engaging them in various games and art/gardening projects, but understand the importance of homework and required household responsibilities. I am an artist and appreciate being able to pass that one to the children that I care for. I am willing to take a CPR/First Aid class if necessary, and have a clean driving record.
