A little bit about me

I looked after my neighbors’ kids all throughout high school and would love to pick it back up. I’m free most weekday nights, some afternoons, & just about every weekend (I have a few Sunday choir concerts scheduled this semester). My usual rate is $13/hr, but I can be flexible! I have reliable transportation & I’m fully vaccinated. I also have childcare experience at my church in FL and have worked as a sleep-away summer camp counselor/lifeguard for 6-16 year olds. I have been through many years of CPR and First Aid training through the American Red Cross. I love music and art, especially crafts, and am more than happy to help with schoolwork as I was an honors & AP student and am currently studying music education at USM.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is connecting with the child. There are a lot of things that go into watching children, but connection is key as many children do not respond well to someone they don't like or respect.

My experience with special needs children...

I've cared for a child with Prader Willi Syndrome (feeding tube, limited speech, needed assistance in the bathroom, etc.) and I have taken/am enrolled in classes regarding children with disabilities and exceptionalities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was actually at Camp Winona. I was the music director for one of the weeks, and all of the kids said it was their favorite activity at the end of that week!
