A little bit about me

My goal is to help families feel at ease so they can continue to provide for their family knowing their little one is being cared for. Over the years I have gained experience ranging from being a live out nanny for over 16years, working with children on the Autism Spectrum, teaching in a public school as an aide for Pre-K through 5th grade and I ran my own Infant & Toddler class in a daycare for 4.5 years. I am trained in ABA therapy as well which at best it will help me to better care for the child or children I will be responsible for. I have been certified in proper sleep training & potty training techniques as well as incorporating routines to help little ones stay active and healthy. In addition I enjoy making crafts and other manipulative tools to help aide with exploration and development. I love reading & singing to help children thrive and grow as they become happy, educated, and respectful individuals. My philosophy is to help children feel safe, loved, & cared for always.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Over 27yrs I have worked in various forms of childcare whether it be a live- out nanny position, daycare teacher (infant- Pre-K classrooms), and as a special education aid working with children in various areas of the autism spectrum where I also practiced ABA therapy with the students.

I love the outdoors, cooking, (trying to sing 😂) making various crafts to name a few.

Observe and document child’s progress on a daily and weekly basis in self contained classrooms. Worked under the district behavioral therapist supervision while implementing various strategies for helping children in the LLD classrooms to thrive in school and build relationships with their peers.
