Hello, my name is Heidi Thacker, I am 19 years old. I have experience taking care of kids since I was 16 years old. I take care of my oldest sisters four kids, ages ranging from newborn to 10 years old. And taking care of my other sisters 4 years old son since he was born. When I was in school I would help with the special needs kids and one of my sister's has ADHD, autism, scoliosis which makes it difficult for her to walk around, and if you have other things.

Coloring, playing with toys, reading to them, allowing them to help me cook food and teaching the safety in the household, watching a movie with them

My experience with special needs children...
One of my sister's is 22 years old with ADHD, autism, scoliosis, possible aspergers since she has trouble speaking since she was a child. My oldest sisters kids have ADHD and autism but her daughter has Asperger's. When I was in school I helped the special needs kids with their homework and helping them pronounce words. Over the years I've learned to help special needs people to control their actions by helping them Express how they feel through ART and writing if they don't want to say it verbally
