To me the most important part of being a nanny or working with kids in general is to make sure that every kid is safe and cared for.
My experience with special needs children...
Not much expierience, but I did volunteer in highschool where while parents had meetings to discuss behavioral plans, I was in charge of helping special needs kids try to learn to identify their emotions,learn some communication tactics,and self regulation habits. I also played games with them, did puzzles,and just made that one night every couple of months special for them.
