More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a nanny to a beautiful baby girl from 6 months old to a year and a half. I kept her on an almost exact schedule of learning, playing, “helping” me cook, naps, and watching educational cartoons. She was a beautiful light in my life :)

I thoroughly enjoy structured playtime, whether that's interactive play, mind puzzles, motor skill development, learning ASL, or creative projects. It all aids in brain development and encourages all the new neural pathways being created while still being fun and fulfilling!

I love to encourage creativity and healthy emotional growth per the parents plan. It is incredibly important to gain trust within the entire family, maintaining a professional yet friendly relationship with all involved (Unless otherwise requested).

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for two intellectually disabled children and one adult. From a young age I was put in the position of caring for my autistic brother and intellectually disabled sister. It is incredibly rewarding and has contributed to my knowledge base and patience. I do a lot of research in my spare time and apply what I know to how I care for them. They truly are the smartest, most interesting people and it is a pleasure to know and care for them!
