Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at a childcare facility for approximately two years. I babysat a family with 3 young girls for 4 years. I've been a program assistant at a summer camp for type 1 diabetic children. I've also had multiple opportunities to volunteer with young children one being a summer internship with Omaha Public Schools were I spent the summer in a first grade classroom planning mini lessons and fostering relationships with my class.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a creative. I love music and arts so, any crafts projects such as bracelet making or coloring are up my alley. In my personal life I'm pretty active so I would love to incorporate activities where we are moving in our time. That can be as simple as having a dance party in the living room or exploring the city doing things that would interest your child. In addition I enjoy baking so if you're comfortable with me using your kitchen that's an activity that I find kids like to help with (of course with supervision)
