Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My love for children started when my first cousin was born. From then on I have made numerous life long friendships with families I have babysat for.
In high school I spent two semesters in a class called Careers with Children. I was placed in a Pre Kindergarten class . I learned how to create lesson plans and celebrate special moments.
I also dedicated two years in a class in high school called The Anchor Program. In this class I made special bonds with students who have special needs. I had the honor of being able to be their friend in class. It was the best experience of my life so far.
After high school I nannied for a few families. I never thought it would be something I missed. Luckily, my friend’s mom runs a daycare out of her house. I spend as much time as possible giving her an extra hand.
