More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For 15 years+ I was a church childcare nursery worker when I lived in San Antonio. I made $120.06 monthly and was also a church member where I took care of children. I am also a volunteer in the nursery at my and Mark's current church. I love to play violin and guitar for children, and read books to them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Coloring, watch children's programming, play basketball, arts and crafts, play with pets, help with homework, reading storybooks, help with bath time, eating with them, laughing with them, singing songs, playing the violin and guitar for them, teaching basic Mandarin Chinese, making cards for mom and dad, playing board games.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Loving children, being a big kid myself with them, nurturing them, being there to give sound advice. Being loved back in return.
My experience with special needs children...
Mark and I have a special needs son that is Autistic and non verbal. I am the only mom he knows and loves. His birth mom abandoned him when he was 5 without his daddy's knowledge while he was away at work. I became his mom when he was 8. He spoke at a few months old and when his mom's bad behavior towards his dad happened it caused Marky to regress and become non verbal. He is very smart and engaging. I grew up being a special needs child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Our son saw a bottle of mountain dew in my hand, and tried to take a big swig. He spilled some on his shirt and on the floor. He nuzzled my neck, sat on my lap, and kissed me on the cheek. He had spilled some mountain dew on my jeans but I did not care nor did I get mad. I threw my head back and laughed. His dad wiped the spill off the floor. We are a good family of three.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Austin, TX: Adriana G.
Hello everyone! I am Adriana! I've been baby sitting since I was 12 and got CPR certified when I was 16-18 just never renewed ! But we have just moved to Austin with my family! I'm a 25 yo SAHM with two little ones, one is 4 and my second is 1. They will be with me or go with me for gigs unless my hubs has the day off and so your kiddos could potentially have buddies to play with if that's okay with you.
I'm mostly available for date nights or after school baby sitting , stuff like that! I can cook so meals won't be a problem! I also have a ton of fruits and snacks on hand so they'll never be hungry if you choose to drop them off and I watch them here. Also because I have children myself we have tons of toys to share, and play dough, coloring, all the fun stuff! I love little ones and now that I'm settled here , I'd love to start sitting again.
I'm also open to a couple days a week (reoccurring) or mon-fri, it just depends on the times and location

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Austin, TX: Laura B.
Hi! My name is Valeria. I'm from Mexico. I speak Spanish and have about 80% fluency in English.
I truly love being a nanny. I have experience caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. I was an au pair for a year and a half, taking care of three children aged 3, 5, and 7. For the past three years, I’ve been working with a family, where I started caring for their daughter when she was 14 months old. I’ve had the joy of watching her grow, and I also help with their 3-month-old baby.
I love creating a safe, loving, and fun environment for children, and I adapt easily to their different stages of development.
My responsibilities have included school pick-ups and drop-offs, organizing crafts and activities, tutoring, going to the park, and preparing meals. I enjoy creating a fun, caring, and safe environment where kids can learn and grow.
I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your family’s support system!
