A little bit about me

I’m nineteen and have known from a young age that I wanted to work with kids. I’ve always felt naturally drawn to them and love the energy, honesty, and joy they bring into everyday life. My biggest dream is to become a mother one day and raise my children to lead with kindness and love. Caring for kids has always felt like what I’m meant to do, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to help them learn, grow, and feel safe.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been caring for children since I was fifteen and have gained experience in a variety of settings. I’ve spent the past four years teaching swim lessons and two years as a certified Water Safety Instructor, helping children of all ages build confidence and skills in the water. I also volunteered at a local preschool for five months, where I enjoyed assisting with daily routines, activities, and creative play. Each of these experiences has strengthened my love for working with kids and my ability to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time with kids doing activities that let them be creative and learn something new. Some of my favorites are arts and crafts, reading together, swimming, playing outdoors, and baking simple treats. I think it’s so important for children to explore new things and gain confidence as they learn. Whether we’re making something, playing, or trying something new, I always try to make it fun and mean

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a nanny isn’t just a job to me, it’s a calling. What matters most is creating a space where children feel truly safe, loved, and valued for who they are. I want to nurture their curiosity, celebrate their individuality, and help them grow into kind, confident, and compassionate people. Every laugh, every small accomplishment, and every moment of connection is meaningful to me. I believe in teaching through love, patience, and example, and in showing children that the world is full of possibilities when they feel supported and cared for. My greatest joy is helping kids feel seen, celebrated, and empowered to shine their own unique light.

My experience with special needs children...

My cousin has special needs, and growing up with her has had a big influence on the kind of caregiver I am today. She has taught me compassion, patience, and how to see the world through a more understanding lens. Through that experience, I’ve developed a special connection with children who have special needs and a deep respect for their individuality and strength. They truly bring so much light and joy to the world.
