Treating kids as if they were your own. Parents put a lot of trust into nanny’s, if the parent could stay home all day with their child I’m sure they would. I think it’s important to do the best you can to help out in the family’s house, and engage with the kids. Show them you are there and interact with them.

My favorite nanny moment was when I was potty training a little girl I was watching for some time, and she got up on her own and went to the toilet without me. Of course I watched her from a distance, but seeing her face when she came out on her own knowing I seen her do it independently was priceless. She was just as proud of herself as I was!
