"She was an amazing employ she took good care of my kids like it was her own she always knew what to do to calm them down when they weren’t having a good day. She was always on point with feeding them and putting them to bed. And the kids loved her they saw her as an older sister and always wanted her around. If you were to hire a babysitter/nanny I would choose her over my own mother. She really was an excellent babysitter. Sadly we have to let her go because we are moving states but once again if anyone is looking for a babysitter she is the best person to hire."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes working with MNSAR, where I supported kids with disabilities such as autism, ADHD, and behavioral challenges, as well as babysitting for families with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. In these roles, I provided safe supervision, planned fun and educational activities, and helped with daily routines like meals and bedtime.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
As a nanny, I enjoy doing a variety of activities with children, such as reading books, creating fun arts and crafts projects, and going for walks or nature hikes. I love taking kids to the park, building with blocks or Legos, and encouraging imaginative play like tea parties or superhero adventures. Baking simple treats, singing songs, and dancing are also favorites, along with exploring easy science experiments. I like helping with homework, playing board games or puzzles, and even organizing themed days to keep things exciting. These activities help children learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and positive environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is important because you are responsible for keeping children safe, engaged, and cared for. It requires patience and a positive attitude to handle big emotions and challenging behaviors while helping children feel secure and happy. Good communication with parents is essential for building trust and making sure you follow their expectations and routines. You also need to be reliable and flexible since children’s needs and schedules can change quickly. Having knowledge of child development supports you in planning age-appropriate activities and encouraging healthy growth and learning. Overall, being a nanny means creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked for over a year with MNSAR, a program serving children with various disabilities, including autism, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. During this time, I gained significant experience and developed valuable skills in supporting and working with children with diverse needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite babysitting moments was when I was watching a 4-year-old named Mia. She was feeling upset because her older brother had gone to a birthday party without her. To cheer her up, I suggested we make a pretend birthday party for her dolls. We set up a little tea party, decorated with paper streamers, and even made pretend cupcakes out of playdough. By the end of the afternoon, Mia was laughing, singing, and dancing with her dolls, completely forgetting she’d been sad. It reminded me how important it is to be creative and patient with kids, and how a little imagination can turn a rough day into a fun memory.
