Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to explore with children! In this day and age, many children haven't had the opportunity to explore in their own backyard! I have taken children to museums and nature preserves.
I also stress the importance of tech-free time during the day. I am a super creative person, so I love to do arts and crafts activities. As a former athlete, I also enjoy getting kids moving! Whether it be a game of tag or a scavenger hunt around the backyard, I do my best to incorporate some physical activity during the day.

My experience with special needs children...

My older brother has autism and I've cared for him my entire life. I have also volunteered with Southfield Special Forces, a group dedicated to adults with special needs.
While working as a supervisor at a summer camp, I was assigned a non-verbal child with autism as my one on one.
