My experience with special needs children...
My first job as a 14 year old was at a summer program at BOCES working with special needs children. It was there I truly understood special needs people are still people, and deserve to be treated as such. Also as a daycare worker, we enroll children of all backgrounds and abilities. While I am not certified in working with children with special needs, I have ample experience through work, and firsthand from family members.
