More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love museums, park days, beach days, you name it! I'm a very active person, so I will definitely keep your little one(s) busy and entertained. I have experience with homeschool curriculums and am able to properly navigate through lesson plans (while also keeping your little engaged with adjustments to their learning styles).
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to adjust to a child's needs at a drop of a hat. All children are so uniquely different and deserve to be seen as such to ensure they receive the best care they can.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children and adults started at a young age. Growing up, I volunteered extensively with programs serving developmentally disabled children and adults, which sparked a passion I've carried with me ever since. Through my years as a camp counselor, I worked with children of varying needs and abilities. Always focusing on patience, consistency, and building trust. Professionally, I've worked as a paralegal for the last four years specializing in guardianship. Where I earned extensive hands-on experience with Guardian Advocacy (a legal process specifically designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities). This has given me a great understanding of the rights, needs, and protections available to children on the spectrum and other developmental conditions.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I haven't had the privilege of being a nanny, however, my years of helping my parents raise my siblings brings a deep joy for education, development, and creativity. One of my favorite moments as a teenager was being able to help my sisters understand how to write their first research paper (I am the avid writer of the bunch). It brings me so much joy to share knowledge and creativity to others; especially at an age where those things are so incredibly important.

Babysitter Available in Orlando, FL: Nina W.
Hi! My name is Nina, and I'm currently in my second year at UCF studying studio art. I am the oldest. daughter and have both a younger brother and a sister. Growing up, I've had plenty of experience caring for them and looking after the kids of close family and friends. I still remember the babysitter my parents hired for us, and I hope to be just as fun, caring, and impactful as she was. In my free time, I love all crafts, reading, and traveling to new places, as well as visiting my favorite spots such as Disney World. I would describe myself as very hardworking and organized, but also mindful to live in the moment and not stress about the things I can't control.
