Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an intern for Playful People Productions, helping care for children ages 3-12 who were taking part in a musical. I facilitated games during breaks, helped keep track of 10+ kids at once, comforted those who missed mom, and, most of all, made sure everyone had fun!

I adore watching kids explore their surroundings and engage in creative expression and ideas. Whether that be at their favorite park, or at home, I am always excited to help foster creativity through play.

I have experience with Autistic children as one of my younger siblings is on the spectrum. I understand how needs may be different, and I recognize my experience with my younger sibling has not taught me everything, I am always open to learning!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment of caring for children was when during my unpaid internship, a child who previously had been very shy and very homesick, started to open up and have fun. I remember when I saw this child walk through the doors of the theatre with a huge grin, excited to have "theatre time".
