I love reading, making up dances, playing with legos, going outside, and playing pretend. Arts and crafts are also super fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being an extra support system for the kids and parents. It isn't my job to parent the kids by any means but to help reinforce what the parents want to instill in their children. The boundaries you set with me are important and I refuse to use methods that parents aren't comfortable with. That being said, I don't feel comfortable yelling at kids or using corporal punishment.

My sister comes with me sometimes to watch the kids of a family friend. She thought that their backyard was gated and let the dog out. This led to a neighbor hood chase with the younger girl on my back and me completely barefoot. We were able to catch their puppy but it was sure a day to remember and a funny story to tell their mom.
