Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I've had the joy of nannying an infant boy and a 3-year-old girl for about two years—caring for them, preparing meals, keeping things tidy, and making our days fun and engaging. For the past year, I’ve been nannying a 14-month-old baby girl while also caring for my own 15-month-old son, which has been a wonderful experience and shown me how smoothly I can manage caring for two little ones at once, while also completing a daily list of home tasks. I’ve also helped raise my 9-year-old sister and regularly babysit my nephews, who range from toddlers to age 9. I truly love being around kids of all ages and bringing creativity, care, and a positive energy to every day.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing a mix of fun and enriching activities with children! I’m very creative and crafty, so I enjoy doing arts and crafts, imaginative play, and hands-on projects. I also love being outdoors—whether it's going for walks, playing at the park, or exploring nature. I'm a big animal lover and enjoy teaching kids about animals and spending time with pets. I also really enjoy teaching through play, whether it’s simple games, reading, or everyday learning moments. My goal is always to keep things fun, active, and meaningful!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a meaningful relationship with the children—one built on trust, care, and connection. I believe in being a consistent, supportive presence in their lives, someone they feel safe with and excited to be around. I love not only teaching them new things but also learning from their unique personalities and perspectives. It's such a special role, and I cherish the opportunity to create lasting memories, encourage their growth, and truly be there for them in both big and small moments.
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have a ton of formal experience with special needs, but I have cared for a baby boy who had a colostomy bag and his 3-year-old sister who’s on the spectrum. That experience really helped me learn patience and how important it is to be flexible and sensitive to each child’s needs. I was also a peer tutor in middle and high school, which gave me some experience supporting kids with different learning styles. My mom worked as a Teacher’s Aide for students with special needs, so I’ve picked up a lot from her over the years. I’m always open to learning more and doing my best to provide thoughtful, caring support.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when the baby boy I cared for said his very first word—it was my name, “Bela.” He then gave me the biggest, sweetest hug, and I was so happy I cried tears of joy. It was such a beautiful reminder of the special bond we had built, and it’s a moment I’ll always cherish.
