It’s also about being patient, reliable, and present in their daily lives, supporting their development while building trust with both the children and the family. I believe consistency, kindness, and responsibility are essential in helping children grow in a healthy and happy way.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have direct experience working with special needs children, but the child I currently care for has a peanut allergy. I give her daily oral treatment every morning and carefully monitor everything she eats to ensure her safety and avoid cross-contamination. This has made me very attentive, responsible, and detail-oriented when it comes to children’s health and care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are the ones where we create meaningful and loving memories together. I especially enjoy the moments when we are laughing, playing, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Even though the children may not remember these moments when they grow up, I know they will always stay in my heart.
