I have been a babysitter for over six years on and off. I babysat for a family with two girls, ages 4 and 6, for two years every day for after school care. I have also cared for other children in my neighborhood. I also was a nanny for a week and cared for two kids (9mo and 2 years) in Nantucket last summer!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing at the park outside, doing arts and crafts, watching movies, baking cookies, playing sports, going to the pool or the beach, etc.

I have been a counselor at an after school activity where I played soccer outside with children with disabilities (mostly with autism or down syndrome).
The most important part about being a nanny...
Last summer, I nannied for a toddler who was pretty shy. My favorite nanny moment was when we went to the park and I could tell that he opened up and really showed his true goofy personality as we were playing on the slide at the park. Being able to really connect with him and him being comfortable with me made that moment special.
