A little bit about me

Hello! I’m Bella! I have over 7 years of babysitting experience. I am looking for a summer job full or part time! I will be in TMCC’s dental assisting program in the fall, but depending on my schedule, I would be willing to fit in part-time hours if you are flexible! I am required to be CPR certified for this degree so I will have that by the summer! I love to help make a difference in anyone’s lives, especially kids! I am hard of hearing/deaf and I have a lot of patience. I am willing to learn anything that may help me get to know your kiddos and help them have a fun time! I am also willing to encourage kids to be more creative with crafts and sign language, I am not ASL certified but I do have two years of class experience! Ask me anything!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked as a nanny/in child care for the past 7+ years. I have a large family and many younger cousins, which I also gained experience by babysitting. I have watched children from ages 0-12. I have previously worked in church childcare as a volunteer as well as a paid member of the team. I have had two longer nanny jobs which I could get references from! I am currently a nanny and have been with this family for almost 2 years!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m particularly creative and love encouraging kids to make crafts or even teaching them drawing/painting techniques (I know this can be messy but I am also very clean and organized). I enjoy board games, card games, and imaginative games that many kids teach me. I am also willing to teach some sign language, I am not certified, but I do have two years of class experience! I love to teach and ask questions!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having patience and respecting parents wishes! And having a fun and loving relationship with the kids, my current baby calls me “mama Bella” hahaha.

My experience with special needs children...

I have only babysat one child with down’s syndrome, I do not pretend to have that level of experience perfect, however I am willing to learn and I am extremely patient.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment would have to be when I was putting the kids to bed, and a 4yo and 6yo both prayed for me to have a safe trip home. Kids have another level of kindness in them. Another time would be when a child thanked me for listening to him because he felt no one else did. I was really grateful to make an impact in his life.
