Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Throughout my four years at school, I worked as a nanny for two families, forming lasting bonds with both the children and their parents. I also worked as a teacher's aide at a preschool, where I started a garden program that encouraged the students to learn about growing their own produce, herbs, and flowers. I am currently pursuing my Behavioral Technician license to work with children on the autism spectrum.

Making balloon flowers, flying kites, playing sports (basketball, baseball, volleyball), braiding hair, finding rollie pollies or worms, picking flowers, playing tag, baking, lemonade stands, making up songs, and running around a grassy park!

The most important part about being a nanny is building trust with the children and their parents. Communication is a crucial part of building trust. Ensuring that parents and I are on the same page with daily goals and expectations helps to ensure that children can trust me as a respected adult in their lives.

My favorite nanny moments are when I attend plays, concerts, or sports events and surprise my nanny kids. Seeing the look of excitement on their face brings me so much joy. I love to support them and all their amazing activities.
