A little bit about me

Hi! My name's Isabella, but I go by Bella. I am a 21 yr old college student currently attending community college to get my associates in Child Development. My goal after college is to either teach Prek/Kinder or open my own center one day. I adore and love working with kids and have worked in a childcare center setting since I was 15, but I have been babysitting and watching other people's kids since I was about 12. I am currently doing school online and working as a part time nanny Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and I am looking for another part time nanny position but definitely open to full time nannying jobs in the future after community college as well! So my availability is mainly M,W,F anytimes and T/T anytime until 1:30pm and the occasional weekend.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience from infants to early gradeschool. I have been a toddler teacher for two years at a center with 12 kids and I absolutely loved it, but it has gotten a bit difficult because of teacher turnover and I was working overtime almost every day. I want to be a nanny because I want to be around kids and I want to do the same thing I have been doing which is loving and caring for children just in a smaller, more manageable scale. I speak English and have taken ASL in high school and in college, not completely fluent, but I used it in my classroom with my toddlers all the time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love making crafts, enjoying the outdoors and going on walks. My classroom toddlers loved bubbles and chalk and going on nature walks were some of my favorite things to do. I love taking kids to the zoo, science museums, etc.

I think the most important part about being a nanny is being a consistent and reliable person with a love for children.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with children with ADHD and down syndrome. I have taken care of and had a baby and toddler with down syndrome in a classroom setting.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments I had with my old family was just driving in the car and our sweet and funny conversations when taking them to and from games or different events.
