A little bit about me

I am a sophomore at Boise State University for Psychology! I am from a huge family, including about 30 cousins on my dad's side so I have done a fair share of babysitting, but haven't become a nanny! I love to be outside, going on walks, and enjoying the weather. I weirdly enjoy cleaning, and find it comforting when I organize. I want to become a nanny because I enjoy working with children, and I have loved watching all my young cousins grow up!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have baby sat a lot of my cousins, and I have done some baby sitting outside of my family. I watched a 4 year old and an 8 year old for a couple months for about 4 hours on the weekends.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

When I used to babysit, one of my favorite things to do with the children was to walk, or ride bikes to the park. They got to spend time outside and get some energy out, while I also got to enjoy the outside. I had a little brother growing up, who had the biggest imagination, so when it comes to playing with toys, I enjoy helping their imagination!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about becoming a nanny is just creating a place where the children feel comfortable with me. I want the children to look at me as someone they enjoy spending time with while their favorite people are at work, or busy. I am not there to become their parent, but rather keep them company until their parents are home. I also want to make the parent's life easier by keeping their areas clean. Life can be stressful, and I want to be able to take the stress off.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have yet to become a nanny, but one of my favorite moments when I was babysitting was when the children start to see you as someone they are comfortable with, and they enjoy spending time with you. I loved when I would come over and they would already be waiting at the door for me to come inside.
