More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I'm looking forward to the elementary school district's summer break starting in June, giving me over six weeks off. I usually spend breaks with family and friends, but this summer I'd like to earn some extra money by doing something I'm passionate about. Any suggestions for fun, profitable activities that align with my interests would be greatly appreciated!
I gained valuable experience volunteering in various educational and community settings. I assisted as a middle school coach for field hockey, helped at church festivals for children, supported special education programs at an elementary school for a couple of days, and worked as an aide at the Otay Ranch Mall Public Library. These experiences have deepened my passion for educational and community service.
I've also gained valuable experience at various other elementary schools throughout Chula Vista subbing at sites in the YMCA program.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing a variety of activities with children, both indoors and outdoors. For indoor activities, I enjoy doing openers and enrichment activities that promote creativity and critical thinking. And for outdoor activities, I like organizing physical games to keep the kids active. These activities can be both fun and educational. If you have any specific questions or need examples, feel free to ask.
The most important part about being a nanny...
As a nanny, educator, and more, the most important aspect is to ensure that children feel comfortable and joyful in your presence. It's important to create an environment where they are excited to spend time with you. You want them to experience building trust and positive memories with every interaction.
My experience with special needs children...
Sadly, I believe I don't have the qualifications for this.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is the sweet interactions I have with the kids. For instance, I'm often a favorite among the children. When I'm substituting at different sites and don't see some of them for a day, their reaction upon my return is truly touching. They'll run up, give me a big hug, and tell me they missed me and are excited to see me again. Moments like these reassure me that I'm pouring my heart into my job and truly making a difference.

Live-In Part-Time Nanny Available in Chula Vista, CA: Breanna G.
Hi! I am a Filipino-American woman in her mid-twenties, and I am studying to be an elementary school teacher! I am currently instructing at after-school programs in my area, but I'd love to find work that is more personal and consistent. In high school I was an active member in the schools Buddies Club, which integrates special needs students with neurotypical students. I have also had jobs working at the San Diego Zoo (as a face painter!) and at Disneyland (as a photographer!). I believe in keeping kids active and artistic - and away from screens! If there's a park, let's play. If there's some paper, let's paint. I can teach about photography, as that is a huge interest point for me. I am also no stranger to tutoring school-material! I have also most recently worked with TK and Kindergarteners, so I am interested in motor skills and basic developmental learning! I am open to part time OR full time work, but I am currently enrolled in school (but all online classes this semester).

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Chula Vista, CA: Debora G.
Hello, my name is Debora.😊
I’m originally from Brazil and have been living in the US for the past 9 years.
I have a kind 9 year old daughter, and a caring energetic 7 year old son which are my most precious gifts.
In 2009 I started my journey with kids and child development in Brazil, I had kids from multiples age groups, but started with kindergarten.
When I first moved to The US, I got my first job as a nanny caring for a 9 month old boy from Coronado for a few months, until I found out I was pregnant. After becoming a mother I was out of the work field until 2022 where I was hired at a charter school as a teachers aide. In June 2024 I decided the classroom wasn’t for me anymore, although my passion for caring never ceases.
I enjoy working with kids and I’m a very caring mom, teacher and friend. I have bonded with kids from different age groups, and for me being around kids is more than just a job, its about making them feel safe, seen and make a difference in their lives. ♥️
