More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I have cared for children includes helping take care of my siblings’ children from the time they were born and continuing to provide care as they grew. I have also raised my own child, which has given me hands-on experience with patience, routines, safety, meal preparation, and creating a loving and supportive environment. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of understanding each child’s needs, keeping them engaged, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing activities with children that are both fun and meaningful. I love reading books together, doing arts and crafts, playing outside, going on walks, creating games, helping with learning activities, and encouraging their creativity and imagination. I also enjoy simple everyday moments like cooking together, building with toys, and talking with them because those are great opportunities to help children feel comfortable, supported, and connected.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is making sure a child feels safe, loved, and comfortable while having fun and being themselves. I believe children need someone who is patient, caring, and understanding, but also someone who can bring positive energy and make everyday moments enjoyable. I love creating a calm and happy environment where kids can learn, play, explore, and feel supported. Building a trusting bond with a child and their family is what makes being a nanny so special to me.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children comes from caring for and being around family members with different needs. I have an uncle with cerebral palsy and a cousin with autism, which has helped me develop patience, understanding, and compassion. These experiences have taught me the importance of being supportive, respectful, and attentive to each person’s unique needs. I understand that every child is different, and I believe in creating a safe, caring, and encouraging environment where they can feel comfortable and valued.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is seeing a child become more confident and happy because of the care and support I provide. I love the little moments, like when a child learns something new, shares a story with me, reaches a milestone, or feels comfortable enough to show their personality. Knowing that I helped create a safe, fun, and loving environment is what makes childcare so rewarding for me.

Hello!
My name is Taylor and I am a recent UNCG grad! I have worked in childcare for the last 5 years, but being an oldest sister I have been around children my whole life. I love activities that focus on STEAM as well as outdoor activities that inspire creativity. I am an educator who believes that children are children first, though the things they do at school, daycare, etc are important, it is also important your child gets the opportunity to be a child. Please message me with any questions!
