A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Isis. I’m currently taking time off from school after returning from studying abroad and am looking for childcare opportunities. I have 2 years of experience working at a Child Development Center, primarily with toddlers and Pre-K groups.

I’m CPR certified and trained in First Aid, and I also have a car if transportation is needed. My schedule is very flexible, so I’m happy to work with what’s best for your family.

I’m energetic, patient, dependable, and love working with children. I enjoy keeping kids engaged through activities like reading, puzzles, creative play, coloring, and outdoor time. I also have experience with meal prep, potty training, and diapering, and always respect each family’s parenting style while prioritizing safety and communication.

Feel free to reach out, I’d love to connect!

"Our family had such a great experience with Isis last summer. She cared for our 5yo daughter, and she was wonderful. She was always dependable and flexible, which made our busy days so much easier. More importantly, she was incredibly kind and caring. Our daughter absolutely loved spending time with her and was always excited to see her. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our child was in such good hands. We’re really grateful for the care and attention she gave our family and would happily recommend her to another family."

"We had a wonderful experience with Isis for over 10 months caring for our two children, who were 5 months and 2 years old when she started. She was consistently reliable and punctual, and we always felt confident leaving our kids in her care. Isis is incredibly caring and attentive, and it was clear how much our children adored her. She formed a genuine bond with both of them and always engaged them with warmth, patience, and enthusiasm. We’re very grateful for the care she provided to our family and would highly recommend her to any family looking for a dependable and loving nanny."

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In addition to my work at a Child Development Center with toddlers and Pre-K, I’ve also cared for children through babysitting for families in my community. I’m experienced with supporting daily routines, planning engaging activities like reading, crafts, and outdoor play, and helping with things like meal prep, diapering, and potty training. These experiences have helped me become patient, adaptable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

• Reading books and storytelling
• Arts and crafts
• Puzzles and educational games
• Outdoor play and nature walks
• Creative play and imagination games
• Coloring and drawing
• Music, dancing, and singing
• Age-appropriate learning activities

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is ensuring the children have a safe, comfortable, and nurturing space to learn and grow. Building trust with both the child and the parent are essential, and I make sure to prioritize caring for that bond through communication and mutual respect.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was with a very shy child I cared for. One day he quietly walked over, climbed into my lap with his favorite book, and waited for me to read it. I gently encouraged him to ask for the story himself, and after a moment he softly and politely did. We ended up spending about 45 minutes reading and cuddling on the couch. It was such a sweet moment and really showed how much more comfortable and confident he had become. Seeing that growth over time felt so incredibly special, and I think fondly on that often.

Mykai C. - Seeking Work in Atlanta

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Atlanta, GA: Mykai C.

Hi, I'm Mykai! I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids. I've been working with children for 6 years, caring for ages 6 months to 13 years through nannying, babysitting, swim instruction, and private lessons. As a swim instructor, I'm CPR/AED and lifeguard certified, so safety, especially around water, is something I take seriously. I love keeping kids active and entertained, whether that's swimming, playing outside, going to the park, doing crafts, reading, or finding something fun to do at home.

I'm comfortable with childcare responsibilities, including preparing meals and snacks, bottles, diaper changes, naps, school drop-offs and pickups, homework, and following each family's routine. I'm easygoing and flexible, but I also understand the importance of structure.

I'm in my last year of college working toward my BBA in Computer Information Systems. I'm looking for a family where I can build a genuine relationship with the kids and become someone they feel comfortable relying on.
