A little bit about me

My name is Itati Ruiz-Spence, and I am a responsible, caring, and dependable individual who enjoys working with children. I am currently a student at the University of Texas at El Paso, where I am pursuing a degree in Education because I am passionate about helping children learn and grow.
I have experience caring for children through babysitting, and I have developed strong patience, communication, and problem-solving skills through my customer service and leadership experience. I enjoy creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children can have fun while learning and feeling supported.
Families can count on me to be reliable, organized, and attentive to each child's individual needs. I believe in treating every child with kindness, respect, and encouragement, and I strive to build trusting relationships with both children and their parents. I am excited about the opportunity to provide dependable care while making a positive impact on a family's daily life.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes working at a local daycare, where I supervised children, helped with daily routines, prepared snacks, organized age-appropriate activities, and ensured a safe, caring, and engaging environment. In addition, I have experience babysitting for family and friends, assisting with meal preparation, homework, playtime, and bedtime routines. These experiences have helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, responsibility, and the ability to build positive relationships with children of different ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy taking children on walks and to the park, where they can stay active and explore the outdoors. I also enjoy reading books together, doing arts and crafts, playing educational games, building with blocks or puzzles, listening to music, dancing, and encouraging imaginative play. I like planning activities that are both fun and age-appropriate while helping children learn, build confidence, and stay engaged in a safe and positive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel valued and cared for. Building trust with both the children and their parents, encouraging learning and independence, and being patient, dependable, and attentive are essential. A nanny plays an important role in a child's daily life, and I believe that role should always be filled with kindness, respect, and genuine care.

My experience with special needs children...

While I have not worked professionally with children with special needs, I have personal experience caring for a close family member who has additional support needs. Through that experience, I have learned the importance of patience, flexibility, understanding, and adapting to each child's unique needs. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment, and I am always willing to learn and follow each family's preferences and care routines.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Although I have not worked as a nanny before, one of my favorite childcare experiences has been spending time with my nieces and the children I have cared for. I love seeing their excitement when we play games, read stories, or spend time outdoors. Watching them learn new things, gain confidence, and share their laughter is one of the most rewarding parts of caring for children.

Briana N. - Seeking Work in El Paso

Full-Time Nanny Available in El Paso, TX: Briana N.

I’ve worked with kids through my church nursery, where I help take care of them, play with them, and make sure they’re safe while their parents are in service. I also volunteered at a community softball event where I spent time with kids, helped with activities, and made sure everyone had a good time. I recently completed a child safety class, which taught me more about keeping children safe and creating a positive environment. I really enjoy being around kids, and I’d describe myself as patient, caring, reliable, and someone who loves making children feel comfortable and have fun.

Babysitter Available in El Paso, TX: Savanna J.

Hello! My name is a savanna and I have been working around children since I was little. My family owns a karate business so growing up I helped out a lot. I’ve worked with ages three and up but my favorite is ages 3-6. I like to do lots of activities just since I grew up teaching classes so I believe kids shouldn’t be still but doing something to keep them occupied and having fun. I hope to be a good fit for your children!
