More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am an Early Childhood Education student with 5 years of experience caring for children. I have worked as an after-school teacher for 3 years and have also been a nanny, so I understand how to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for kids. I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities, helping with homework, preparing meals, and encouraging children as they learn and grow. I am responsible, patient, dependable, and truly love working with children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts for example something I have done with children because I am a upcoming preschool teacher so I teach a class I was trying to teach the kids about Mardi Gras so we went out and we bought necklaces and mask for all the kids and we found some Mardi Gras music and we went into a different classroom and marched around the kids loved it. It was a fun and creative activity.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is patients because you will be spending a lot of time with children so you have to deal with all the behaviors and all the mood swings and losing your temper or getting irritated will only make things worse so I say patience. And actually having a love for kids I feel like that plays a big part.
My experience with special needs children...
Yes, I have experience working with children with special needs through both my childcare and after-school teaching experience. I understand that every child is unique, and I am patient, caring, and willing to adapt to each child’s individual needs. My goal is always to provide a safe, supportive, and positive environment where every child can learn, grow, and feel included.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories with the kids was making s’mores together. We laughed, told stories, and had so much fun. I love creating fun, hands-on activities that help children make happy memories while learning and spending quality time together
