It’s about being patient, attentive, and consistent while also supporting their emotional, physical, and developmental needs. Building trust with both the child and the parents, maintaining a structured but caring environment, and always putting the child’s well-being first are the key parts of being a great nanny.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was caring for a baby who would cry every time his mom dropped him off. I made it my priority to help him feel safe and comfortable. Once he settled in, we would play together, and I would prepare meals and create a warm, home-like environment for him. Over time, he became more relaxed and happy during his time with me, which made the experience very rewarding.
