I worked as an assistant teacher at a daycare during the summers of [phone number hidden]. I primarily worked with ages 1-4 and in this role I actively engaged with children, and maintained a safe and nurturing environment. Additionally, I have been a regular nanny for a 13 month old and babysat for a few toddlers!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy taking children on nature walks or to nearby parks. I like to encourage them to observe and explore the natural environment. I also enjoy water play on hot days and running through sprinklers with the kids! One of my favorite indoor activities to do is board games or work on puzzle, I find this to be a really good way to connect.

I believe building a strong relationship with the children and their family is crucial. This would involve good communication, and accepting feedback and suggestions. I also believe in creating a nurturing environment that encourages growth and creativity.

My favorite memories working with kids are all the moments where they would make a friendship bracelet for me or pick a flower for me and give me small little gifts to show their love! It always makes me feel so appreciated.
