A little bit about me

Hi my name is Jackie. I am 37 years old. I love kids. I am very caring, cautious & nurturing. I have many years experience being a nanny starting when I was a teenager. I’ve been a nanny to a few week old boy until 2 years old. Usuallly from early in the day until very late at night and many overnights. So I am very comfortable with everything that goes into taking care of an infant and toddler. I also babysat a 7 year old boy, 8 year old girl, and 12 year old boy at the same time for a few days a week for about 2 years. I am very creative and know how to keep kids occupied and having fun. I am also currently pursuing a degree in early childhood education in the near future. I am CPR certified but I just need to renew the verification. I am willing to get my first aid certification asap. My husband and I share a car. But he works overnights and only 3 nights a week. So I will have the car during the day and 4 nights a week. My favorite moment was when the infant I was a nanny for laughed for the first time. It was the best things I had ever heard. As well as when when he started saying words that I had taught him. It made me feel like I was making a real difference.
